Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna won TPA Robo Competition for 3 years in a row
Thailand Robot competition championship 2018 for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's cup which is organised by Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) or TPA to provide a platform for young people to show their potential, knowledge of engineering and technology and create innovative products with automation system to reach the international level
In this year, the competition is organized in 3 categories; Robo Golf Hole-in-One, Robot Competition, Flying Dragon Ball Robot and Bit Racer and Robo Rescue. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Pathom Sawanpanyalert, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Science and Technology was the president. The competition was held at Diamond Zeer Rangsit Shopping Center, Pathum Thani Province.

- First runner-up : "Success" from Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin
- Second runner-up : "Rookie Bot" from Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok
and "Kai" from Mahanakorn University of Technology - The best Technic : "X-Team" from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi
