Mitsubishi Electric held a workshop for Monodzukuri Engineers Program

Mitsubishi was honored as a lecturer in the workshop "How to use programmable logic controller (PLC) with inverter" for students who joined in Monodzukuri Engineer Program at Thai-Japanese Institute of Technology on December 18, 2019

Monodzukuri Engineers Program is an additional program for students of the Faculty of Engineering which aims to develop students to be able to use engineering knowledge in product design and production processes through "Monodzukuri" concept.

In this workshop, students learned about basic of using FA (Factory Automation) equipment, wiring and setting parameters for operation. They used real equipment; compact programmable logic controller (MELSEC iQ-F (FX5U)) and inverter (FREQROL-A800 series) which can be used to improve the production process to be automated in order to prepare to become a Smart Factory in Industry 4.0 (Industry 4.0) as well.
